'Peppy' was broken in as a 2 year old and campaigned successfully in halter, western pleasure, trail, horsemanship and reining. After showing great potential in these disciplines he was then branched out into other fields to test his versatility.

Some of these disciplines included team penning, camp drafting, working cow horse and cutting, All of which he took in his stride. He is also used as a mustering horse.

He worked extremely well in his early cutting, so was then put into six months of cutting training as a four year old. After his intensive training, he was then shown in S-E and Northern Queensland cutting competitions, where he received many wins and placings.

In 2005 Peppy competed in the National Paint Horse Show and gained champion for the Senior Horse Reining and a reserve champion in the Open Working Cow-horse.

Peppy has more than proved his worth by competing successfully at a variety of disciplins. His versatility, calm nature, even temperament and keen willingness to listen and learn, has made him a pleasure to own, train and campaign. These outstanding athletic qualities, and his ability to produce a variety of colour patterns, are continually being passed on to his progeny, which are suitable for any discipline.
