is proud to present to you 1 x 2 day clinics with Mark Shaffer,
100+ times World & National Western Pleasure Champion, from Texas, USA.
The clinics will be held 29 & 30 November 2008 at the Burpengary Equestrian Centre.
What you can expect to gain from this clinic is a detailed explanation of the horse’s movement. Mark will teach you a series of exercises, a “set of tools”, that will enhance your training program and help you understand not only your horses movement, but also the degrees of difficulty in what we are trying to achieve in the competition world.
The $500.00 fee includes all meals for riders as well as
Stabling and camping . Fence sitters are welcome at $100 per head / per day unless attending with a rider, Fence sitters are encouraged to join in with questions, observations etc.
This clinic is available to 15 riders only and bookings will be accepted on a first in / best dressed basis.

Water Wheel Reining Classic Turns Pink!
|
The Goulburn Valley Reining Horse Association (GVRHA) is busily getting geared up to host the very FIRST ANNUAL WATER WHEEL REINING CLASSIC, 14-16th November, 2008, featuring the Maturity Event, at Tatura, in country Victoria.
The Maturity Event will see 3 & 4 yr old horses competing against each other. This will be a natural stepping stone for horses straight out of the RA Futurity competing against horses that have only derbied for one (1) year. The Maturity Event will set apart our Annual Show from other futurity & derby shows.
Not to leave out older horses however, an emphasis will also be placed on the Open Event.
GVRHA are also proud to announce that proceeds from our 'SR PRETTY IN PINK LADIES' & our 'TOUGH ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK OPEN' events, shall be donated to Breast Cancer research, and encourage & hope that Trainers will rise to the occasion by wearing pink in the Open Event.
With nightly entertainment, the drawing of 'HICKORYS RUF N READY' gelding raffle, an International Judge, Buckles on ALL events, not to mention the prize money, the WATER WHEEL REINING CLASSIC is shaping up to be a great Reining Show!
