Why the need for Hi Shine Hot Oil treatment?

Sun, sweat, sand, rugging and illness can take its toll on a horses coat making it bleached, dull and brittle.

There are no hard and fast rules as to quantities to use on your horse, just use as much or as little depending on how much conditioning you require, helpful guidelines come with product.

After the shampoo, rinse and scrape down, mix Hi Shine with warm water in a bucket and sponge all over coat, mane and tail.

Clipping

Clipping gives the coat a tidy, finished look to a halter horse, and it is functional to performance horses that would sweat heavily working with a winter coat.

Despite the best efforts of lights and rugging to retain a natural 'summer' coat during the show season , coats can break, and need to be body clipped, which can leave a patchy dull appearance, and unwanted colour changes to darker horses. 

This is because clipping removes the pointed end of the hair which refracts light and gives the coat its polish and sheen.

Hi Shine has the ability to fill the core and give the clipped coat back its light refracting properties.

Hi Shine's new HG Serum is a potent, concentrated Natural Serum blended with the finest cosmetic grade oils & plant extracts to aid the rapid growth of hair on the horse, particularly manes & tails, blemishes, hot spots, scratches & abrasions.

HG Serum is recommended for use on areas where hair has been rubbed out from friction (rugging etc), minor cuts/scrapes/abrasions, new & aged scars, hot spots etc... it is highly concentrated and only a small amount needs to be applied. It will assist the healing process of the skin after injury and stimulate new hair growth.
