INDIA WOODS

I really started riding before I was born, because my Mum used to ride while she was carrying me. Mum and Dad first sat me on a horse when I was 6 weeks old and I won my first trophy in a monte carlo when I was 6 months old, with my Dad leading the pony and Mum holding me on.
I started showing in lead line when I was 2yo and starting mustering the cows with my Mum on my shetland Peanut when I was 4 yo.

When I was 5 Mum and Dad bought a QH  mare called Lady Moon for me , I now ride and show her when she is not having babies. She loves me like I love her.

I have also started riding Mums 3yo BGW In the Spotlight she is only small 14h 1/2inch and is going to be my horse to show when I am more experienced. I show her now in Showmanship.

I would love to be in movies and ride and would like to ride in the Youth World Cup when I am older. For now I still would like to be in movies and would like to go to a western trainer and learn to lope really well like the big girls that show.

My heroes in western are Gary Prior who helps me lots and made Mum take the lead rein off of my horse. Mum and Dad because they do so much for me, and Lesley Wegner because she also helps me learn to ride.

I love working with Mum teaching the foals to lead, and tie up and making them quiet. I just LOVE horses. I have won three hi point buckles and lots of trophies and I have taught one foal to lead and tie up all on my own, he is a weanling colt by Tribulation called BGW Spot On, he's real cute

Thankyou for sending us your story Miss Indie.
Cheers Toni
