MY FIRST SHOW.
Hello, My name is Penne Campbell and I am 6 years old. I have been learning to ride horses at Pelican Creek Paint Horse Stud since the end of last year. I come down to Wendys place and ride Chicky (Twin Oaks Chic Talk) or one of the other horses about once a week if mum doesn't forget. I have ridden Tomboy and Soxy and Nikky too.
I like Tomboy and Chicky the best because I fell off Nikky and Soxy.

I went to my first Western Show at Nebo with Chicky on the 24th and 25th March.
It was a 2 day show and on the first day I got 1st in halter,

2nd in Jnr Youth Show'm'ship

and 1st in leadline with Gary leading me.

On the next day Wendy said I could ride on my own in the walk and trot and there were 2 girls in it and I got first

and 1st in halter and 3rd in show'm'ship.

Mum and dad took lots of photos of me at the show and there is also a
photo of mehaving a lesson at Wendy's place on (Peppys) Tomboy.

I had a really good time at the show  and I hope to go to the next one at the end of April because it is really fun.
