Sonofaboonsmal was purchased on a trip to see the 'Summer Spectacular' in Texas USA 2003.   Whilst visiting 'Larry Hall Cutting Horses', the home of Peptoboonsmal at the time, we came across this weanling colt who literally stepped up and said take me!  

Of course, we knew the gamble involved in buying a horse so young, but we could'nt fault him! So, without hesitation we bought him.

'Texan' has proven to be a great horse, he's very talented.  He has successfully competed in cutting, and has just started campdrafting, taking to it like a 'duck to water', showing his great athleticism. Winning his 1st ever draft straight up.

'Texan' has great conformation, his best asset would have to be his strong solid legs and feet, which of course is vital for cutting, campdrafting, or any horse sport in general.    To add to this, his bloodlines speak for themselves, making him a great cross over many Australian mares.
